What if the U.S. went to a 3-president structure and got rid of the vice-pres title ? Pros vs Cons ?

It would be great if you ask me - allowing for a 2 of 3 vote to veto a bill, etc. Plus if one happened to be elected and he/she turned out to be a dud as in the case of Obama, there would be 2 others able to carry his weight.
